About Zinio

Zinio brings innovation and inspiration to the world of magazine publishers and consumers by delivering the ultimate digital reading experience on any device. As pioneers of the digital publishing industry, Zinio leads the digital magazine market in breadth of content and accessibility on any platform.

I took the lead on two key initiatives for Zinio, managing both Strategic Consumer Partnerships and Software Licensing opportunities with the world’s leading OEMs and MNOs.

I strategically aligned Zinio with prominent consumer brands such as Target.com, Fandango, Showtime, and Starwood Hotels and Resorts to bring the Zinio Digital Newsstand and its publishing partners to a global audience. These efforts significantly broadened Zinio's exposure and drove substantial revenue for both the company and its publishing partners. Additionally, I introduced customized digital magazines for major partners like the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for Emmy Magazine and Showtime, featuring its hit shows Dexter and Weeds.

I also pursued, negotiated, and secured software licensing agreements that enabled the Zinio Digital Reading Application to be preloaded onto smartphones, tablets, laptops, and more, making the Zinio Digital Newsstand accessible to consumers anytime, anywhere. This initiative generated significant revenue for Zinio and its publishing partners.

My extensive network of strategic partners included Samsung, Motorola, Sony, Qualcomm, Adobe, Dell, HP, HTC, Acer, Asus, LG Electronics, Sharp, Nokia, Lenovo, Vodafone, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint.
